Overview

The KKD eServices Portal provides citizens with convenient, round-the-clock access to a comprehensive range of government services. Through this platform, residents can apply for certificates, permits, licences, and various other official documents without the need to visit government offices in person. The portal has been developed as part of the Digital Services Initiative to ensure transparency, efficiency, and ease of access for all citizens.

All applications submitted through this portal are processed electronically and routed to the appropriate department for review and approval. Citizens receive real-time updates on the status of their applications via SMS and email notifications. The portal is designed in compliance with government accessibility standards and is available in multiple languages to serve a diverse population.

24/7 Availability: All online citizen services are available round the clock, 365 days a year. Citizens can submit applications, upload documents, and track status at any time from any internet-enabled device. For technical assistance, the helpdesk operates from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM on all working days.

Available Services

The following services are currently available through the online portal. Each service has been digitised to eliminate paperwork and reduce processing time significantly.

  • Birth Certificate Application: Apply for registration and issuance of birth certificates for newborns or delayed registrations. Supporting documents including hospital records and identity proof of parents are required.
  • Death Certificate Application: Submit applications for death certificates with requisite documentation from hospitals, crematoriums, or burial grounds.
  • Income Certificate: Obtain income certificates required for educational scholarships, government schemes, and subsidised services. Self-declaration and employer verification may be required.
  • Caste Certificate: Apply for caste certificates as mandated for reservations in education and employment. Verification by the Tahsildar or equivalent authority is conducted.
  • Residence / Domicile Certificate: Prove your residential status within the jurisdiction for admission, employment, and other purposes.
  • Marriage Certificate: Register marriages and obtain official marriage certificates as per the applicable marriage act.
  • Trade Licence Application: Apply for new trade licences or renew existing ones for businesses operating within the jurisdiction.
  • Building Permit: Submit building plan approvals, construction permits, and completion certificates online.
  • Water / Sewerage Connection: Apply for new water supply or sewerage connections, or request modifications to existing ones.
  • Property Tax Payment: View property tax assessments and make payments online with instant receipt generation.

Eligibility

All resident citizens of the KKD jurisdiction are eligible to avail online services through this portal. Applicants must possess a valid identity document such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence. For certain services, domicile or residency within the jurisdiction for a minimum period may be required. Non-residents may apply for specific services such as birth or death certificates if the event occurred within the jurisdiction.

Required Documents

The documents required vary by service type. However, the following are commonly required across most applications:

  • Valid government-issued photo identity proof (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Passport, or Driving Licence)
  • Address proof (utility bill, ration card, or bank statement not older than 3 months)
  • Passport-size photograph (recent, taken within the last 6 months)
  • Self-declaration or affidavit as applicable
  • Supporting documents specific to the service (hospital records for birth certificate, employer certificate for income certificate, etc.)

Fees

Processing fees are applicable for most services and can be paid online through net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The fee structure is determined by the respective department and is subject to periodic revision. A detailed fee schedule is displayed during the application process. No additional charges beyond the prescribed fees are levied by the portal.

How to Apply

Follow these steps to submit your application online:

  1. Register / Log In: Create an account on the portal using your mobile number and email address, or log in if you already have an account. Aadhaar-based authentication is also available for faster registration.
  2. Select Service: Navigate to the desired service from the services menu or use the search functionality to find the specific service you need.
  3. Fill Application Form: Complete the online application form with accurate personal and service-specific details. All mandatory fields must be filled.
  4. Upload Documents: Attach scanned copies of all required documents in the prescribed format and file size.
  5. Pay Fees: Complete the fee payment through any of the available online payment methods. A payment receipt will be generated immediately.
  6. Submit Application: Review all details carefully and submit the application. A unique reference number will be generated for tracking purposes.
  7. Track Status: Use the reference number to track your application status at any time through the portal, SMS, or helpline.
